Dr. Altiveros joined the practice in March of 2022. He was born and raised
in Manila, Philippines. Dr. Altiveros graduated with honors and earned his
Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as his Doctor of Medicine at
University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
After earning his Medical Degree, Dr. Altiveros moved to Chicago to complete
his training in Pediatrics. He completed his Pediatric Residency and Chief
residency at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago
Illinois. He is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Altiveros practiced Pediatrics in Chicago for almost 14 years before
moving to Sacramento. At Chicago's Cook County Hospital he served as the
Director of the Newborn Nursery as well as an Associate Program Pediatric
Residency Director. In addition he also held clinical faculty positions at
Rush University and Rosalind Franklin University. His clinical interest
includes newborn care, HIV care, and serving underserved patient
populations.
During his spare time, Dr. Altiveros enjoys travelling, playing the piano,
and taking landscape photography. He is an avid tennis player.
